Starting BiG EVAL Server on the Console

There are several reasons why you want to start BiG EVAL from a console-window (e.g. PowerShell).

  1. Start a PowerShell-Window.
    Please note that the PowerShell-Window gets executed with your personal user credentials. Everything that runs inside the window, runs under your user credentials. This means that BiG EVAL may have the wrong or missing permissions to run.
    You can work around this, by starting the PowerShell-Window under a different account.
  2. Switch to the installation-folder of BiG EVAL.
    cd "c:\program files\bolt technology consulting GmbH\BiGeval\"
  3. Start BiG EVALs EXE-file.
    ./BTC.BiGeval.Server.exe
