Creating a Data Source

  1. Open BiG EVAL and open the navigation menu “Environment” > “Datasources”.
  2. Click on the red Plus-sign on the bottom right. If this is the first data source, there is a button labeled “Create Datasource” in the middle of the screen as well.
  3. Enter a name for your datasource.
  4. Click on “Create Datasource”.
  5. Setup the data source depending on the technology. See the other articles in this category to find specific technology settings.

Testing Connection

Starting with Release 2.8.0 there is a “Test Connection” button on the bottom of the data source configuration dialog for some data source types.
